My Universe, My Heart

My universe,
My heart,
The crooner of the spheres,
Gently calls my soul to weep
Throughout the long light years.

No frills in space
Just thrills to waste
Along the corridors.
Black holes in the firmament
One of God’s lost laws.

The frieze of the galaxy
Where comets stretch and play,
Call to mind the hand of God
Postponing Judgement Day.

The Embosser of such creatures
That dance amongst the stars,
They swim beneath Earth’s oceans deep
And water found on Mars.

We die with the sun then
In a thousand, million years,
And live with God
In mansions formed
Through crystals in Her tears.
