Our Community Development Fund for 2023 will be opening for applicants on the 11th April!

Applications Open- 11th April 2023
Applications Close- 21st May 2023 9.00AM
Winners Announced- Beginning of June 2023

This year, because it’s our 20th Anniversary and we have a busy year ahead, we have decided to run one Community Development Fund.

Rest assured, there will be the same pot of money, but just one round of applications rather then a Summer and a Winter round.

We open for applications in April and our Community Development Workers are ready to answer your questions, have chats about your project ideas and go through the application process with you!

“It was Recovery Devon’s excitement that gave us the confidence to be bold.”

Philip – The Washing Machine of Destiny

This fund is for anyone who is passionate about creating opportunities for recovery, in interesting and ‘out of the box’ ways. We welcome any innovative, recovery-focused project ideas that would benefit from a small amount of financial support.

We can fund between £50 to £750 per project. Project leads can also make use of our community development expertise. We offer light-touch mentoring, as well as a little more hand-holding if needed to start you off.

We encourage those with lived experience of mental health struggles to apply, especially if it’s something that will also help your own recovery. You do not need to have had any experience with running projects before, if this is your first venture in setting up something in your community then we can offer connections and resources to help.
