We are delighted to announce the opening of the 2020 Recovery Devon Development Fund.
Now in its fifth year, our annual fund provides a seed for projects that bring recovery to life in Devon and beyond.
Our simple application process and community of goodwill allow ideas to flourish.
Complete applications by – 5pm Friday 28th February 2020
Winners notified – Friday 20th March 2020
We actively welcome people with lived experience of mental health issues, and those who have never tried to run a project of their own. If you’ve always wanted to make something happen in your community, this is your chance!
Some of our past winners have gone on to receive national acclaim thanks to a boost from Recovery Devon in their early days; the Barber’s Collective and Happy to Share being just two. But the results and sense of community are what it’s really all about. Every autumn we invite our fundwinners to gather and share their work, and our 2019 Celebration Day was considered to be our best yet.
Projects we’ve funded in the past have included group work, producing resources, art, music, and even equine assisted learning. Have a look through the Development Fund archives for some inspiration.
Fund winners are notified in March and should aim to complete their projects by 30th September 2020, ready to present our Celebration Day in October.
If you’ve applied before and not been successful, do try again!
