A safe way to help shape Recovery in Devon – Meet-Ups June 2018

Development Fund Winners Weavers of Wellbeing and Donna Poade invite you to their workshops, where you can share your story to help improve understanding of the many ways in which people recover from mental health challenges.

In their own words:

We are looking for local people who are willing to share their experiences and stories about what worked for you and how you have recovered from a life or health challenge, shock, trauma or addiction that has impacted on both your mental and physical wellbeing.

We are interested in your unique method of recovery – it could be anything from writing poetry, painting, photography, walking, playing an instrument, singing, drumming or wild swimming.  Come and join others on their own recovery journey to meet new people and find out what has worked for them.  In two free forthcoming workshops in the beautiful Manor House in Dawlish, we offer a safe space to explore what helps us all to move from surviving to thriving.

Working together, we can create a shared resource of recovery tools and activities to help others on their journey to recovery. Expenses will be paid, parking is free and refreshments available in this magical and supportive space.

22nd June, 2-4pm and 26th June 7.30-9.30pm

Spaces are limited so please call to book and if you can’t make either of the events and are bursting to share your story then email julie@weaversofwellbeing.com.
