ISPS is a major international group that brings together lived experience and professional perspectives on psychosis, from all disciplines, and is specifically oriented toward psychological and social approaches.
The international conference brings together many national groups from different parts of the world every 2-3 years. Last time it was held in New York, in 2017 it will be in Liverpool.
Glenn Roberts had the privilege of being on the organising committee the last time it was in the UK in 1997 when it attracted more than 600 delegates from over 30 countries. In Glenn’s words “it’s a big event … but also something of a tribal gathering of all kinds of folk with a shared commitment to humanistic responses to the complex and often painful experiences we call ‘psychosis’.”
There is an opportunity to propose a contribution to the conference and for a time there will be a cheaper ‘early bird’ rates available for registration.
