Autumn Festival of Recovery and Wellbeing

This was a fantastic event, which worked on so many levels. We hope that those who were lucky enough to be able to attend also benefited from the range of activities on offer.

People heard inspiring presentations and attended a wide range of stimulating workshops. The creative activities in the gardens were also wonderful, including tai chi, Segways, falconry, llama walking and natural craft work. Inside, the singing, drumming, art work, mental health information and the wonderful way it was all put together, led to a real sense of potential for change. Time to talk around the wonderful food on offer made the experience complete.

We are getting a better understanding about the need for openness and holistic opportunities around mental health and wellbeing, and the need for people to do what is good and helpful for them. If you have not had the opportunity to complete an evaluation form we would ask you to do so, in order that we can learn the most from this event.
