Recovery Devon is a Community Interest Company funded by, but independent from, Devon Partnership NHS Trust.

Recovery Devon became a Community Interest Company
on 15 June 2012, Company Number 01807189.

As such, we have both a formal structure, with company members and a board of directors, and an informal structure of supporters and our email list.

We have a Management Board, which includes the directors of the company. This committee works to develop and promote the activities of Recovery Devon. Our Managing Director, who leads the Board, is employed part-time.

We aim for the Board to comprise approximately equal numbers of health practitioners (experts by training) and people with lived experience of mental illness and their familes and supporters (experts by experience).

We always welcome volunteers to help with Recovery Devon activities.

The Management Board currently comprises:
James Wooldridge (Recovery Devon Managing Director), Susan Arnold (Secretary), Russ Drayton (Finance), Caroline Nicholson (Learning Community), Mike Smith (Web/Social), Judith Belam, Ian Henwood, David Hess.

Dr Glenn Roberts acts as an adviser to Recovery Devon.

A detailed description of the structure of our organisation is available here.
